1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Trip Prudent, including our mobile app, website, and related services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Trip Prudent.

2. Service Description and Eligibility

Trip Prudent helps users organize travel plans, documents, reservations, reminders, expenses, and related trip information. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Trip Prudent directly, and you must provide accurate account information. By using Trip Prudent, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

• Not a travel agency: we do not own, operate, sell, or control flights, hotels, transportation, attractions, government services, or other third-party travel providers.
• Travel information can change: you are responsible for verifying reservations, entry requirements, travel advisories, timing, pricing, and provider policies before you travel.
• Family and group travel: adults may add travel information about family members, companions, or other travelers, including minors, when they have the right to do so and only as needed to plan or manage travel.
• Feature availability may vary by device, region, account type, subscription status, and third-party service availability.

3. Accounts and Security

• You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You may not impersonate another person, use another user's account without permission, or provide false account information.
• Notify us promptly at support@tripprudent.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

• Trip Prudent may offer free features and paid subscription features. Subscription duration, price, trial terms, and renewal details are shown before purchase in the applicable app store or checkout flow.
• Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal through the app store or payment provider used for purchase. Trial eligibility, renewal timing, taxes, currency, and final price are shown in the applicable checkout flow.
• Refunds, billing disputes, and payment-method issues are handled by the app store or payment provider according to its policies and applicable law.
• Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically refund prior charges. Access to paid features may continue until the end of the current paid period.
• If a payment fails, subscription expires, purchase is refunded, transaction is reversed, or entitlement cannot be verified, access to paid features may be paused, downgraded, or ended.
• We may change, add, or remove paid features, and we will provide notice of material subscription price changes when required by law or app-store rules.

5. User Conduct and Content

• You are responsible for the travel information, documents, photos, notes, messages, and other content you upload, import, forward, create, or share through Trip Prudent.
• You retain ownership of your content. You grant Trip Prudent a limited license to host, process, display, transmit, analyze, and back up your content as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.
• If you share a trip or invite collaborators, those people may be able to view, use, or change shared trip content depending on the permissions available in the app.
• You may not upload content that is unlawful, harmful, infringing, abusive, deceptive, or that you do not have the right to use.
• You may not scrape, reverse engineer, overload, interfere with, or attempt to bypass security controls in Trip Prudent.

6. Automated Features and Travel Disclaimers

• Trip Prudent may use automated and AI-assisted tools to extract details from documents, organize itinerary information, suggest plans, summarize content, create packing lists, or personalize app features.
• AI-generated itineraries, suggestions, summaries, parsing results, recommendations, and reminders may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.
• You are responsible for reviewing important travel details before relying on them, including booking dates and times, addresses, confirmation numbers, prices, cancellation rules, opening hours, accessibility details, and provider policies.
• Trip Prudent does not provide legal, tax, medical, immigration, insurance, financial, safety, emergency, or government travel advice.
• You should verify passport, visa, entry, transit, vaccination, weather, transportation, safety, and local-law requirements with official sources, carriers, providers, or qualified professionals before you travel.
• Travel alerts, weather alerts, flight status updates, reminders, and similar notifications are provided for convenience only. They may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate, and they should not be your only source for safety, emergency, government, airline, or provider information.
• We are not responsible for travel delays, cancellations, schedule changes, denied boarding, lost reservations, pricing changes, provider errors, government requirements, weather, emergencies, or third-party service failures.

7. Privacy, Permissions, and Account Deletion

• Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect information when you use Trip Prudent.
• Some features require device permissions, such as camera, photos, location, calendar, notifications, or biometric authentication. You can manage these permissions in your device settings.
• You may request account deletion through the app, by email, or through our account deletion support page. Some limited records may be retained where required for legal, tax, security, fraud-prevention, billing, or dispute-resolution purposes.

8. Third-Party Services

• Trip Prudent relies on third-party services for app distribution, payments, infrastructure, authentication, communications, analytics and diagnostics, maps and location services, document processing, AI-assisted features, travel data, external booking links, and other operational purposes.
• Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy practices, prices, availability, cancellation rules, refund rules, and content. We are not responsible for third-party products, services, data, content, or availability.
• Some links or recommendations may be affiliate, referral, sponsored, or commission-eligible links. When that happens, Trip Prudent may receive compensation if you click, book, subscribe, or purchase through the link, at no additional cost to you unless disclosed in the third-party checkout flow.
• A listing, recommendation, alert, or link does not mean Trip Prudent endorses, controls, guarantees, or is responsible for the third-party provider or the travel service you choose.

9. Trip Prudent Rights

Trip Prudent, including its software, design, trademarks, content, and proprietary technology, is owned by Ruhi Enterprises Inc. or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you ownership of Trip Prudent or any right to use our brand except as necessary to use the service as intended.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• Trip Prudent is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid to Trip Prudent in the 12 months before the claim or $100.00 USD, whichever is greater.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, travel costs, or substitute services, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless Trip Prudent, Ruhi Enterprises Inc., and their officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and legal fees arising from your use of Trip Prudent, your content, your travel decisions, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination and Changes

We may suspend or terminate access to Trip Prudent if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users, do not meet our eligibility requirements, or use the service unlawfully. We may update these Terms from time to time and will take reasonable steps to notify you of material changes when required.

13. Disputes

To the maximum extent permitted by law, disputes will be resolved individually and not as part of a class action. Any arbitration, venue, or governing-law provision will apply only where permitted by applicable law.
