Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Trip Prudent, including our mobile app, website, and related services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Trip Prudent.

2. Service Description and Eligibility

Trip Prudent helps users organize travel plans, documents, reservations, reminders, expenses, and related trip information. You must be at least 13 years old to use Trip Prudent and must provide accurate account information.

• Not a travel agency: we do not own, operate, sell, or control flights, hotels, transportation, attractions, government services, or other third-party travel providers.
• Travel information can change: you are responsible for verifying reservations, entry requirements, travel advisories, timing, pricing, and provider policies before you travel.
• Feature availability may vary by device, region, account type, subscription status, and third-party service availability.

3. Accounts and Security

• You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You may not impersonate another person, use another user's account without permission, or provide false account information.
• Notify us promptly at support@tripprudent.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

• Trip Prudent may offer free features and paid subscription features. Subscription duration, price, trial terms, and renewal details are shown before purchase in the applicable app store or checkout flow.
• Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. You must manage cancellation, renewal, and payment settings through the app store or payment provider used for purchase.
• Refunds, billing disputes, and payment-method issues are handled by the app store or payment provider according to its policies and applicable law.
• Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically refund prior charges. Access to paid features may continue until the end of the paid period.
• We may change, add, or remove paid features, and we will provide notice of material subscription price changes when required by law or app-store rules.

5. User Conduct and Content

• You are responsible for the travel information, documents, photos, notes, messages, and other content you upload, import, forward, create, or share through Trip Prudent.
• You retain ownership of your content. You grant Trip Prudent a limited license to host, process, display, transmit, analyze, and back up your content as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.
• If you share a trip or invite collaborators, those people may be able to view, use, or change shared trip content depending on the permissions available in the app.
• You may not upload content that is unlawful, harmful, infringing, abusive, deceptive, or that you do not have the right to use.
• You may not scrape, reverse engineer, overload, interfere with, or attempt to bypass security controls in Trip Prudent.

6. Automated Features and Travel Disclaimers

• Trip Prudent may use automated tools to extract details from documents, organize itinerary information, suggest plans, summarize content, or personalize app features.
• Automated outputs may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. You must review important travel details, dates, documents, costs, addresses, visa or passport requirements, and safety information yourself.
• Trip Prudent does not provide legal, tax, medical, immigration, insurance, financial, or professional travel advice.
• We are not responsible for travel delays, cancellations, schedule changes, denied boarding, lost reservations, pricing changes, provider errors, government requirements, weather, emergencies, or third-party service failures.

7. Privacy, Permissions, and Account Deletion

• Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect information when you use Trip Prudent.
• Some features require device permissions, such as camera, photos, location, calendar, notifications, or biometric authentication. You can manage these permissions in your device settings.
• You may request account deletion through the app, by email, or through our account deletion support page. Some limited records may be retained where required for legal, tax, security, fraud-prevention, billing, or dispute-resolution purposes.

8. Third-Party Services

Trip Prudent relies on app stores, payment processors, cloud infrastructure, authentication services, communications providers, analytics and diagnostics tools, maps and location services, document-processing tools, AI-assisted features, and other service providers. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party products, services, data, content, or availability.

9. Trip Prudent Rights

Trip Prudent, including its software, design, trademarks, content, and proprietary technology, is owned by Ruhi Enterprises Inc. or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you ownership of Trip Prudent or any right to use our brand except as necessary to use the service as intended.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• Trip Prudent is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid to Trip Prudent in the 12 months before the claim or $100.00 USD, whichever is greater.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, travel costs, or substitute services, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless Trip Prudent, Ruhi Enterprises Inc., and their officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and legal fees arising from your use of Trip Prudent, your content, your travel decisions, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination and Changes

We may suspend or terminate access to Trip Prudent if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users, or use the service unlawfully. We may update these Terms from time to time and will take reasonable steps to notify you of material changes when required.

13. Disputes

To the maximum extent permitted by law, disputes will be resolved individually and not as part of a class action. Any arbitration, venue, or governing-law provision will apply only where permitted by applicable law.
